Oh, great, thank you so much! That makes me less worried. We are just beginning our process, so I can't wait to hear how eveything goes with your wedding! You'll have to post pictures, and fill us in on all the details! Congrats, and have a great time.

Has anyone heard that they are no longer providing chair covers? If you want them, you have to rent them from another vendor! I am waiting on Pilar to send me a pic of what the chairs look like minus the chair covers, and to tell me how much they'll cost to rent. YIkes!

Does anyone have any pictures of the chairs, or had their wedding/reception without them?

Well thats not good news!  Could you share the picture that Pilar sends to you? I was going to get chair sashes but they would have looked nicer if there was chair covers! I am getting sick of having to pay for every extra little thing!

As to your other questions, I am just going to get turqoise tea lights that have the clear holder, so  not putting them in anything and I don't think I will get anything to put them in, just another thing to bring and worry about. I haven't recieved the paper latterns yet, but I think they shrink pretty good I think so I am hoping they won't take up to much room. I got the paper laterns from BeauCoup, I liked them because they already have the battery attached to them so I don't have to worry about getting that as well.

Hi Ladies!

We finally decided on the Catalonia and booked our trip! We are getting married there on 10/19/11. Anyone else around that time? I will be starting to watch posts more closely now, and well start reviewing all the wonderful info you ladies have shared thus far on here! This site is absolutely priceless! So many questions to so many answers can be found. I love it!

Pilar has been in contact very little, but I haven't had many questions yet, but from what I understand I should not stress too much about how long she takes to get back too me since her first priority is always the brides there getting married now? Does everyone seem to think she will be good at her job? I know that last wedding coordinator was great, so I just hope she works out well for everyone!

Thanks,

Carrie

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
