Yes, the reception in the Pure Chill Out bar will cost you per person ( I think the prices are between $52-$59 pp). We had 28 people at our reception so doing it at one of the restaurants was out of the question. Either way you can't go wrong. I know alot of brides find it silly to pay the additional fee for the private reception, I kind of did to, but it is worth every cent and they do such an amazing job! It's great to see how they transform the PCB.

Happy Planning!

I may have just posted my non-wedding pictures. If you click the link to "my wedding album" in my siggy you can see my wedding pictures. Other people posted links to theirs in this thread, but their photographer may have removed them by now.

Thanks for that - I finally understand how it all works now!
Nearer the time once our date is confirmed i think we will book the PCB as even with the extra cost it still works out cheaper than doing it all here in the UK - it all looks so lovely.

Morgan - thanks for your help. Loved looking through your photos.

Just got to save the pounds now - oh and lose a few :-)

Hello Everyone. I am having the hardest time getting information about what the airline does to transport the wedding dress. I will be traveling from Chicago via Mexicana airlines. I called the airline and they had absolutely no idea. I called them on 4 different occasions and everyone I talked to was not able to provide me with an answer. I also called O'Hare and they basically had no idea. I'm so frustrated about this. Can someone help!!

Hi guys,

I also wanted to inquire to those that had a private reception bar, how much space did you have to dance? We have about 46 people coming and we are going to get a DJ. Plus, we have been taking dance lessons. So I just wanted to see if they arrange the tables and chairs to provide some dancing room.

Thanks

Maya

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
