Hello!

Le meridien has officially made it on my list of potential wedding locations! My original location fell through because they had a buy out for the exact week that we were thinking of booking. Jenny thank you so much for the pics, it is so helpful since i am not sure we will get a chance to go down before we pic a location:)

How were they in terms of decor? are they fairly flexible with ideas that you have?

I'm having my wedding reception at Le Meridien in April 2010 and I'm SOO EXCITED! I fell in love with this place the minute I saw it and the wedding coordinator at the hotel has been absolutely AMAZING and nothing short of it!! She's so helpful, super, super friendly and flexible. She's always available, gets back to me with answers to all my questions immediately (literally within the hour). She's so awesome I can't rave enough, she's made this process so easy for me.

 

I haven't gone down to visit but I'm going to put my deposit even before I go just to make sure I secure my day.

I actually visited Le Meridien Cancun a few months ago for a tour and tasting. It was AMAZING!!! While we didnt ultimately choose this location, I cannot say enough about the wedding coordinator, chef and staff. Truly truly top notch. If anyone has any questions about the hotel or my visit, I'd be happy to answer them.

I'm so excited you are having your wedding at Le Meridien in April! I can't wait to hear about it! Patricia the WC has been so so amazing. She has gone above and beyond our expectations and is so personal. We are 99% sure we'll be booking our wedding here in the next couple of days.

 

Lalanyc- Is there a specific reason why you chose not to book here after you visited? We won't have a chance to visit first because we had other vacations and friends' weddings coming up. I appreciate everyone's insight!!

I just came back from a site visit and I can't tell you how happy I am to have chosen this venue. It really surpassed all my expectations. When I got there, they were having an event that night so I was able to see the venue set up with the lights and decorations and it was AWESOME. I'm still undecided between the two DJ options so Patricia had both of them come to the resort and DJ for me in person. They set up a food tasting that was awesome...from the taste of the food to the presentation. They even set up an entire table for me so that I could see what it would look like the day of the reception with centerpiece and all. I have to tell you that I have been a very demanding bride I'm a perfectionist so I have been very specific about what chair covers I want, which sashes, how I want the sash tied, etc.... and they delivered on every single aspect. I was blown away by my site visit and I'm not easy to please I have pics if you want to see... Patricia is very, very professional and so is everyone else at that resort. I'm really happy.
