Hi. my first step was looking at hotels through trip advisor. I narrowed it down by all inclusives, kids allowed, how many restuarants. things like that. you should decide what kind of requirements you have. Once you narrow it down to a few resorts than i would see a TA for prices. Goodluck!

welcome4.gif to the forum! I agree with what everybody has said... think about what you want in a location, set a tentative budget, and start emailing hotels. That should help you get an idea of what is available, how much stuff costs, and help to narrow down your location. Take your time and try to enjoy it :) It will all fall into place!

Well, the very first place I started was GOOGLE. It was there I found my FABULOUS WC. She just so happened to live 1 mile away from me. Basically we met with her, she brought her lap top and gave us TONS of info and has taken care of the rest for us. She talks to the WC in Mexico so I don't have to worry about a thing. She asks me what I want, then emails it to the WC. It's been A LOT of fun planning the wedding and I think this is how it SHOULD BE. Bridezillas shouldn't exist and planning a wedding should NEVER be too stressful! Hit me up if you have any questions! Good luck!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
