Hola!

My name is Paula and just came across this site while researching for my wedding.

We don't have a date yet because we are trying to find a place in Cancun Mexico.

I have so many questions, looks like I have come to the right place :)

'Talk' to you soon!

Thank you for the welcome! I am happy to have found you all!

I am in Columbus Ohio. It's about 9 degrees right now here, so the beach sounds wonderful!

I have emailed a few hotels in Cancun, but only one has replied in the last two weeks! Left a voicemail for another with no response. I am wondering if I should contact a wedding planner or if I am just being impatient...

About the dates, does anyone have opinions with weddings in that iarea n late June or July? Trying to consider the high temps and hurricane season, but we really didn't want to wait until the fall.

I suggest to f/u with an email to the hotels. It seems that they need a little push. I think we've all had this experiance with hotels in Mexico. If you dont have much time, meaning, if your planning a wedding soon then contact a WC to help you expedite your plans.

I'm from Lancaster!! I went to grade school in C-bus though and my mom worked at OSU for 30 + years. I have tons of friends still there.

I have absolutely no Cancun info to offer so in that front consider me useless.

Are you looking at this year? or next summer. I think that the humidty might be tough during the summer but June and July are very early in hurricane season, and the fall would actually be worse (August/September are bigger hurricane months, typically)

I agree with Amy, follow up with the hotels you are interested in.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
