I have really curly hair but think if I straighten it or wear it down it will get frizzy in the humidity. So, I'm leaning toward wearing my hair in a loose up do.

 

How are you wearing your hair for the wedding? Also, are there any good site with pics of curly hairstyles?

OK girl, you're talking to the queen of curly hair right here. UGH lol. Well I live in Colorado so it's dry as a bone here. BUT in Mexico I will become a brunette "Goldilocks" My FI loves my hair curly (I'm not a big fan but have no choice in Mexico lol) Anyway, I am doing the "put a few pins in it messy look" I will send you a picture of me and my curly hair if you want so you can see what I will be doing. Give me a little bit and I'll send if you want cheesy.gif I know your hair will be gorgeous for the big day!

Oooohhhh! Great post! I have very curly hair too and have been worried about this issue. I haven't put a lot of thought into it yet, but know it's going to be a problem. It's starting to get quite humid here in Ottawa where I live, so I should start doing some practice this summer.

Thanks for the links to the other hair posts, especially Heidi's curly hair post. I think that I'm going to re-read her review and ask her some more questions about how her hair went.

We should try to keep this post going though and help each other out with style ideas and ways to combat the frizziness.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
