Any ideas for a wedding gift for my Fiance??

Recommended Posts

My gift to FI was ME! LOL. We didn't exchange gifts, since we paid for the wedding on our own we figured the 10 days in Jamaica was our gift to ourselves. But I think the excursion idea is great. Maybe a romantic dinner cruise or dinner at a nice restaurant off of the resort

I haven't done it yet but I was thinking of making my FI a scrapbook of our dating years. I was going to make in chronological order and I wanted it to paint a picutre of our relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. The last page was going to have wedding stickers. I figured in a few years I could make him another scrapbook and start it with our wedding photos.

I have never done a scrapbook in my life before so it's going to be challenging but I think it will be a worth it project.

If there is nothing material you can think of for a gift......an experience is the best way to go.

-Get him a certificate for a day before the wedding massage

-tickets to his favorite sports team

-tickets to a concert

-take him on a day trip to a place of his choosing

-flying lessons (surprisingly cheap)

-etc, etc.

Any of those would work for most guys.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
