Okay here is the tungsten ring...it totally looks the same as any other ring and right now Gold is super expensive so this one was actually cheaper than getting a white gold ring.

our rings totally don't match, but I think that it would be really hard for a man's ring and woman's ring to match, but I think they go together nicely.

My FI and I have totally different tastes, so we will be getting differernt styles as well.

Friends of ours got married 4 years ago, and they actually each have two different wedding bands each (they like variety) and all four rings are completely different! I think this is a fun (but expensive) option!

Christine - I love yours, they look really pretty together!! Is your FI's ring flat? I like that look. Thanks for the link on tungsten too, I had never heard of it. We just started looking for our rings yesterday! How long did it take to get yours??

his ring had to made to fit him, since Tungsten is such a tough metal so we ordered it just after Christmas and we picked it up last weekend. Less than a month I guess.

We ordered it through Jared. The ring is actually curved a little, I think they call them comfort bands now? He is really happy with it, he's a pretty big guy (6'6") and so he wanted a medium width band but they have all sorts of types of tungsten bands. Titanium is similar in toughness, but we were told Tungsten is the toughest I guess.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
