Mexico here we come...Site Visits June 2-6th

Recommended Posts

FI and I will be leaving for Mexico on Monday for our site visits (OMG, still unreal to me). This forum has been such a life saver, honestly, I can't say it enough.... I'm visiting the following places and if any of you needs any pics or has any questions they might want me to ask the WC, please let me know... I would be more than happy to do that for you all:

June 3rd:

Paradisus Riviera Cancun

Iberostar Lindo and Maya

June 4th:

Moon Palace

Beach Palace

Grand Riviera Princess Resort / Grand Sunset Princess

June 5th:

Dreams Cancun

Azul Beach Hotel

and for those of you who have already embarked on this venture, have any of you just "stopped in" a resort without an appointment? I want to use every moment I'm there, lol.....

Ooh, I'm so excited for you smile159.gifand jealous that I'll be here in CT... lol I'm getting married at Paradisus so any info you have when you get back will be great. I'm interested to know how private the reception areas are.

Thanks!

Make sure you call ahead to the Iberostar Lindo because if you don't have an appointment you will not get past the security gait. We tried a few weeks ago and they wouldn't even let us in to see the place. All of the other places we just stopped by and they allowed us to look around, gave us a tour, and or information packets. We stayed at the RM Princess while we were there so if you have questions on that resort feel free to email me. Good luck and have fun, it was beautiful when we were there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
