Little Extras - news letters, etc???? Can I see yours (EDR or other)

Recommended Posts

Did everyone do newsletters etc?

I want to send something out - keep people excited , and talk dress code etc., so people can pack accordingly (and perhaps buy things prior to being there if need be)

What did you say? Can I See them??

I am going to EDR

but would love to see anyones :)

I posted mine in the Dreams Tulum thread. There is actually lots in it that isn't specific to Dreams Tulum which you could use so I'll post it again here:

I've saved a copy with all the personal info deleted, so that you can make it your own if you want. The pictures below give you an idea what it looked like before I deleted the more personal stuff

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING SUNBRIDE'S NEWSLETTER

Everyone can access the newsletter here:

4shared - free file sharing and storage - share folder - My 4shared

So now no need for anyone to PM me asking for it (I've gotten a gazillion requests). Just go to that link and click on the document, then click download, then a new page will open and you have to wait a few seconds (it says "loading file info, please wait"), and then click download file (middle of the page, under where it says "no virus detected"). If you have problems, please PM me rather than filling up our beautiful Dreams tulum thread with Qs&As about downloading the file.

It's a microsoft word file.

I'm still working on my welcome letter (with 3 weeks to go!).

I sent out a pre-travel book that you could certainly use as a template.

It's in my blog and this is the detailed thread:

http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t19955

There is a great suggested packing list!

I'll post my other templates for programs, time line, weekly schedule, etc. as soon as they are finished!

my meet the guests brochures came in yesterday. I'm a little dissapointed that the text by each person's picture was hard to read. But, I'm not redoing them.

You can find more info about all this stuff on my planning thread (linked in siggy).

This was something I emailed guests as a pdf when i wanted RSVPs for the friday morning trips. The pdf is on planning thread.

Thanks for posting this - I am definitely going to use it!!!!! I'm getting married in December 2008 and the only true thing I have done is bought my dress. I do have the location and all that stuff, but have yet to send anything out.

Would ya'll recommend sending a save the date soon? Or how soon should I get started? Everyone that will be attending the wedding has been told verbally the date and location, so that's not a problem. But they all want information ASAP. I'm a busy girl and really haven't had time to pull all this stuff together.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks a bunch!

OMG-- we got some talented girls--lord have mercy- these newsletters look insane!! :) So so cool!!!

We just did a website-- I sent the save the dates out (9 months before wedding) with the link to our wedding website (that I updated throughout planning with information about resort, dresscode, wedding events, etc) --- and also included the link to our travel agent's website (anyone with any travel related questions- I just directed to her website).... I guess you could say I took the lazy way out! :)

Here is a link to our website.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
