Has anyone come across a mariachi version of the traditional bridal march/canon in d/recessional? I'd love to use the traditional songs but with a mexican twist. I found a cd of steel drums wedding music but i think that's a little more Jamaica-mon.
    Help please

im not finding much by googling either. i know most mariachis dont play canon in D, and it doesnt sound good when they do, so the chances of you finding that on CD are slim to none.

there has got to be a CD that exists though with a bridal march...

in the meantime, check this out:

go on itunes to the store and look up silvestre vargas and then listen to la marcha de zacatecas. its a popular wedding mariachi song.
