I ordered my sand from Click the image to open in full size.
Pool and the edge of Banana

All 4 with our containers, I got them at Ikea for $0.99 each! Also the candle in the middle, I got at Target and the color matches perfectly, so I'm burning it down almost all the way, but leaaving some at the bottom, and then we'll use it to pour the sand into, it has a lid that attaches snugly so the sand won't pour out.

Close up of the containers and the candle, you can almost see a bit of the lid under the candle.

    Hi Abbie,
I like the colors. You never really know when you order online what the color will actually look like when you get it. I hope they can switch it for you.

actually in this case it wasn't me, it said Ivory, i ordered Ivory, the packing slip said Ivory, but the actual package was labeled Banana, with yellow sand. someone must have grabbed the wrong one. im sure they'll replace it, they have a good rep.

Those are gorgeous colors!! I also got my sand from there also and they were really quick. I got 2 colors from them, the DB coral and the natural. Love your containers.

I like your colors and containers!! Have you figured out what wording you are going to use for the ceremony itself?

yup! i've got it all done up, i wrote the whole ceremony, well, ok i searched and edited to fit us and our situation, and blended a few different ceremonies together :)
        (feel free to borrow!)
        Sand Ceremony
        Minister - TREVOR:
There are two children who will share in this marriage. Trevor and
        Alixzandra
will now come forward to help us with the Blending of the Sands. The
        joining of
this new family will have a deep influence upon them. We realize that
        in order
for the home to be a happy one, it is essential that there be love and
understanding between the children and the adults being married.
For Trevor and Ali the celebration can be more than just witnessing.
        This is an
opportunity for them to bring themselves into the new family and in a
        symbolic
sense to give themselves to this new venture of the marriage of their
        father.
Abbie and Doug, today you are making a life-long commitment to share
        the rest
of your lives with each other and honor Doug’s children as well. Your
        family
relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these individual
        containers
        of sand.
One representing you, Abbie, and all that you were, all that you are,
        and all
that you will ever be, one representing you, Doug, and all that you
        were and
all that you are, and all that you will ever be and another container
        for each
        child.

As you each hold your sand, the separate containers of sand represent
        your
lives to this moment; individual and unique. As you now combine your
        sand
together, your lives also join together as one family. You may now
        blend the
sand together symbolizing the uniting of the children and bride and
        groom into
        one.
Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again
        into the
individual containers, so will be your marriage and your family.

Waahh! I'm at home and my slow computer won't let me see your pics - I love your wording Abbie. What a great way to include Dougs kids!
