This will probably sound like a dumb question to you ladies but I am not from the States so I am unsure about David's Bridal.
Are the dresses there by specific designers (aka..alfred angelo, sottero)?
I seen a dress on their website that I really like. Is it possible I would find that dress in Ontario, Canada at all?
Notice: The site will be offline this Saturday evening (4/21/18) for a major software update. Thank you in advance for your patience while upgrade to a new-improved version of BDW.

they are mostly DB brand dresses, but they have some called Galina, Oleg Cassini, and Monique Luo, which if im correct, are only designed for DB.

I think the dresses there are specifically designed for David's Bridal? I went down to WA one weekend from BC so I could try on the dresses there and actually bought my dress that weekend. I liked that they had all the sizes there already but I know some people don't like David's Bridal.

There's a David's Bridal store pretty close to London, ON.
It's in Flint Michigan & it's only 208 kms away from you.
You can Mapquest it for directions.
Grab a gf or two & make a day trip out of it!
I hope this helps a little.

Hey chicklet, Maggie Sottero and Allure Bridal's have simular style dresses as the one you found at Davids Bridal. Vist jaybridals website. You can register there and veiw the gowns with a $$price$$, and if you search other Designers as well you could find some of the same styles at a lesser cost, good luck!!

I bought it without doing alterations.. I will get it altered at home here closer to my wedding date.. but I only really have to get the hem shortened and boobie cups put in.

you can buy a DB dress off the rack. I got three different dresses there (its a long story) but I think their prices (especially during their $99 sale) are good and quality is good for a dress you will only wear once.
Christine + Will (married 7/20/07) + Ainsleigh (born 6/25/08) + Nolan (born 11/9/10) + Delaney (born 12/31/13) = One Very Happy Family!

David's dresses are designed exclusively for them but you will find almost identical dresses by other designers. If you aren't too far from the Flint MI store, I'd say take the trip! They carry all the sizes so you could take your dress home with you the same day. If you only need minor alterations like hemming, you could definitely get that done at home. Good luck!
