I'm stalking right now! We didn't get a lot from our registries for the showers, and there is stuff that we really need/want with us putting the offer in on the house. I want to move in with all new stuff!

I know Mike won't want to spend our wedding cash on decor, so I'm hoping that those who don't follow the registry will go the gift card route.

**On a side note. If I registered, buy me something from my f-ing registry! I can't tell you have many picture frames I have right now. And some obvious re-gifts. Anyone want a snowflake brandy decanter? I'll be happy to share the love!

Oh my goodness!! This thread is hilarious to read! I love the snowflake brandy thingy comment :). I just started our registry online last night and I have to admit it's a lot of fun putting together! I was being a party pooper about having a shower. But it's really fun to be able to put whatever you want on a wish list of sorts!

I just checked one of our registries today because I wanted to add something and noticed someone bought us a gift already. My aunt just sent out the invitations for the shower so I was surprised to see something purchased so fast! I need to stop looking (and adding things!). Our shower isn't until September 7, I thought I still had time to update. Damn!

I'd take it off your hands, but then I'd have to send you the ceramic fruit basket, complete with attached ceramic fruit, that we got as an engagement gift...

Ok Just reading your post makes me want to check my reg. I was constantly checking before my e-party to figure out how many gifts and how much cash I would get :) but I promised my friends and family I would stop after the e-party so they can surprise me with a bridal shower. I also had at Macy's a email alert that would tell me who bought what which I disabled for them as well. You already know what is on your reg and that you like it and want it so you might as well keep it as a surprise considering it will be so much more fun to be surprised when you open it. And if you don't end liking it anymore you can return and buy whatever you want you win in every way possible :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
