I have a party about once a year. With the economy right now, I wouldn't suggest it. My friend who is a consultant, she isn't doing so well. I think for most people candles are a luxury and buying them isn't a priority right now. They do have good products and I love them, but would reconsider being a consultant.

I agree.. home sales businesses are being hit pretty bad right now. I know personally I wouldn't have a party for fear of nobody coming.. or people coming and not spending money. I LOVE their candles.. I have boxes of them. They burn liquid and if you accidentally spill the wax, it won't burn you so great for families with kids/pets/clumsy husbands. :)

I would rather have the "security" of working someplace than relying on drumming up my own business and "investing" to begin. I do have a friend who's very successful at it and takes trips with her husband based on her sales but it's a full time job for her and takes her away evenings/weekends to hold parties.
