How have you prepared for for the SATC premiere?

So believe or not my 65 year old mother is a huge SATC fan from watching the reruns on regular edited TV. I had a hard time believing it myself when she started talking to me about plot lines and relationships. Anyhow, I promised her a while ago that I would go with her when the movie came out so we are going tomorrow at 3:20 p.m. I am very excited!!! I'm ashamed to say I haven't watched my SATC DVDs in a while. But going with a cleansed mind might be good.

Have you seen the movies most teens watch, they know more about sex then most of us do, lol. I would not be bringing her is she wasn't such a fan of the show. I always find it funny that people have no problem with their teens or children watching movies that have so much violence, but when it comes to sex we want them to watch it without us, because don't kid yourself that they aren't watching. I have an open dialogue with my children about all sexual things and so I really think this movie can not be any worse then some of the movies (knocked up, american pie movies, Searching for Sarah Marshal, etc...) Movies with sexual content always open us up to some interesting conversations, even ones that make me blush. Sex is everywhere so my 16 and 20 year old are either going to watch with or without me, so I vote with!

We had a wonderful time also! We snuck cosmos in at dinner and at the theater. Here is the shoe(s) I wore next to the poster.

Loved it!!!!!! We went for cosmos before, and you could totally pick out the ladies who were going to the movie. There was a woman at our showing in a Carrie-esque tutu! I LOVED it & can't wait to see it again! It didn't disappoint!
