Gorgeous! Did you have to tie them or did the florist take care of it?[/quote ]Hey Jenn, the florist took care of everything , I didn't even see anything until I was walking down the aisle. I literally dropped off a small suitcase to the WC during our meeting 1 day before our wedding with all my little decos, sand ceremony, table linens, wedding menus, table # and everything for ceremony and dinner/reception was setup :) you honestly don't have time that day to be worrying about all the details, that's why it was great having the WC and florist do it :) and they work together for the setup :)

Hey Kerry, Did you wear heels going down the aisle?? I would like to , and was told we can put plywood underneath and then the aisle over top So I may use that as an option
hey Danielle, I wore 3 inch flip flop wedges, heels would have been very difficult on the sand, it's hard in some areas but very soft in others. Oi wouldnt recommend heels for ceremony on beach, I wore the flip flops for the ceremony and nobody seen them and then changed fr the dinner and reception to my heels -worked perfect

Was the wedding coordinator Keisha or Patricia?
Patricia, I had dealt with Keisha all along during planning of my wedding but then when I got there I was told Keisha had just left to go to Riu Negril to be WC ..so Patricia handled my entire wedding, my meeting, and all details. Everything went very smooth.

Yay! Again thanks sooo much! I left a bunch of questions in the other forum.... like where did you have your reception ? And did they handle the setup of your decor there? How much of your pictures were your decor? The lanterns? Lights ? The pink runners on the table? And the aisle  runner did you rent from there, or bring your own?

Hi Jenn, I just responded on the other forum, your too quick for me lol. I got all my decor from Jan's Florist (preferred supplier of the Riu) really of everything you see in the pics they did everything except for the punk runners on the table that my aunt made for me...I just wanted a splash of color for the tables. Everything else was Jan's.

I was so glad I did not go with the covers...the white chairs are very nice and with the chair tie they look fantasitc...here's a pic from my photographer of chairs/sashes. I got mine from Jan's florist at $2 piece...Ive heard some negotiated as low as $1 piece but either way --really was no big deal _I liked that they came set it all up and then moved the chair ties and chairs to my reception for me --it was worth the $2 chair tie LOL --it was less hassle before for me and during the day. of the wedding.  My 2 cents worth anyway ;) 700

that looks beautiful! Specially the orangE!!! Maybe I should reconsider my wedding colors. I am terrible with color coordination so I have no idea what to do yet. I was thinking of doing teal with another color but now I am thinking that its a beach wedding and I want beautiful vibrant colors. Any suggestions? (I don't want pink)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
