Thats exactly the same with us. I want to have a baby and start our family and if we hadn't got engaged this past december then we would of been having a baby instead. So now we are engaged so wedding first and then Baby after. Otherwise IF we had got engaged i dont know 4 years earlier( been together for 7 now) then we would have had a longer engagement but time is of the essance lol

I havent even started with the OOT bags. I think ill wait until I have more of  idea of whos coming or not. How many ppl do you have confirmed so far?

Ya definitely wait to start your bags...at least til you have a good idea how many ppl are coming. We have 34 booked and confirmed but another 8 that we won't know if they are coming until two weeks before the wedding...that part sucks because I am having trouble knowing how many tables, seat charts, bags I had to buy more, chairs for deco etc to order Lol

So we can add people to the group until the very last minute? That is a relief. I have people saying they won't know until about two weeks before the wedding too.

Keisha sent me an email earlier this week saying she didn't need my final numbers until we got there....I will make sure to send her an email though ay least a week before. My florist is doing the set up thought and needs to know at least a week before because we ordered the chiavari chairs so will have to confirm numbers ne week before anyway lol

Oh. Well this is good news then. Thank you so much for the information, it makes a difference. I would really like to know early on because there are so many little things I have to do but I am also glad that more people might be able to come.

I was so glad I did not go with the covers...the white chairs are very nice and with the chair tie they look fantasitc...here's a pic from my photographer of chairs/sashes. I got mine from Jan's florist at $2 piece...Ive heard some negotiated as low as $1 piece but either way --really was no big deal _I liked that they came set it all up and then moved the chair ties and chairs to my reception for me --it was worth the $2 chair tie LOL --it was less hassle before for me and during the day. of the wedding.  My 2 cents worth anyway ;) 700

yup i agree it turned out great!

Im thinking I wouldnt be able to get the chair ties from them that cheap... lol because I wont be using any of their services except maybe a bridal boquet. I would pay the 2 $chair tie fee if i was going to use their other services for sure :)

The pics were great :)

Hey Kerry,

Did you wear heels going down the aisle?? I would like to , and was told we can put plywood underneath and then the aisle over top So I may use that as an option

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
