You will soon be asking the time to slow down like I am every day for the last 2 months now lol ....it will creep up on you before you know it! trust me-- enjoy it now...I wish I had had the full year to plan cause I have been rushing and going non-stop full speed ahead since we got engaged! :)) Congrats by the way!

i KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!! I got engaged This december. And now getting Married in Jan. I didnt want to wait almost 2 years. Because I want to have a baby soon. And Im lame. Wanna be married before that! If a baby came first i wouldnt complain though!! . But I have only like 10 months! and have to save a bunch of money by then! eeek!! And I am in a wedding in August too! SMH im crazy!

Lol Danielle, I got engaged this past November ...a lil over 4 months ago..and getting married this May-- I'd never recommend to anyone to get married and Plan a wedding in under 6 mths...even if it is destination...unless you have all the time in the world :) I wish I was enjoying all the DIY and planning but there's no time to enjoy...lol. We decided to get married sooner then later so that we could start trying for a baby as well. This is my FI second marriage, he has 2 kids (ages14 & 12) and we're getting up there in age...so have to move quick. I thought being destination would be easier for planning but after all this I wonder lololol still worth it in the end, I'm so excited for the wedding week!! Today I got all my vista print items and was like a kid n christmas openng all the stuff :) i am so excited about the OOT bags!!!

Thats exactly the same with us. I want to have a baby and start our family and if we hadn't got engaged this past december then we would of been having a baby instead. So now we are engaged so wedding first and then Baby after. Otherwise IF we had got engaged i dont know 4 years earlier( been together for 7 now) then we would have had a longer engagement but time is of the essance lol

 

I havent even started with the OOT bags. I think ill wait until I have more of  idea of whos coming or not. How many ppl do you have confirmed so far?

Ya definitely wait to start your bags...at least til you have a good idea how many ppl are coming. We have 34 booked and confirmed but another 8 that we won't know if they are coming until two weeks before the wedding...that part sucks because I am having trouble knowing how many tables, seat charts, bags I had to buy more, chairs for deco etc to order Lol

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
