Doggy daycare sounds like a blast, I think Tux would love it! But I work from home now so I can play with him all day and I'm loving it!

Awwww that is SO cute!! I'm pretty sure my little Pap sleeps most of the day at home- he doesn't need a ton of exersise, so I'm looking forward to see how he acts tonight!! I'm sure he won't get kicked out!

Josie, you are SO lucky to be able to work from home and be with your baby all day!! FI works very close so he comes home for lunch to hang out with the little guy. I get so jealous!

Oh, and our daycare is 35 a day for puppies, 30 for older dogs.

Bo would drive me nuts every time i work from home on fridays...he just is a high energy dog that needs to release his energy...he has no choice but sleep all day in his crate when we're at work so he's all ready to go after work!

Lady Di, theres no need to be scared of my rottie. She truly is a gentle giant :] And I do agree with whoever said that it all depends on how the dog is raised! My mom had a killer rottie, but she never disciplined him. So I vowed to NEVER let any dog I ever own turn out like that!

Well ladies- about an hour after my last posting on Wednesday, I got a call from the doggy daycare. Apparently Crosby climbed onto a 3' or so cat tower and jumped off. They took him straight to the vet next door, did xrays, then we took him back Thurs to see an orthopedic Dr.- he fractured his little paw. So thank GOD he doesn't need surgery or anything- these injuries are common in such a little one. He needs to be in this splint for about 6 weeks. The past couple of days have just been horrible- he just looks at me like, 'Mom, what's happening?'

 

He's being a total trooper though- he's getting along just fine on 3 legs, although sleeping has been very frustrating for him because he has to wear his cone. I think I have cried more about it than he has. In this pic he's a little out of it from the anesthesia. My poor little guy

omg, poor thing!! looks like he had a blast at the daycare, though! i hope he has a speedy recovery.

awww thanks--- the daycare guy also feels SO bad that he is taking care of him for free until it heals. I know he had a blast because he loves going back there!
