I'm realy excited though and already this site is the best thing ever!
I have so many Ideas and my dates not even booked yet! :-)

Looking forward to comparing notes with you ladies in the coming months!

Thanks!

Jenn
You might want to start thinking of alternate dates. If memory serves me right there are not Saturdays available in June 2009. I first requested June 6, 2009 way back in February and it was not available. I hate to be a downer but just wanted you to be prepared. Be sure to give MULTiPLE DATES when you respond, because it takes her sooo long to get back. Sorry!

So...I was on the Dreams Resorts webpage the other day and I noticed that the FAQ section has changed. It used to say:

Will there be other weddings taking place on the same day as ours?

* No. Your special day is yours and yours only.

But now it says:

Will there be other weddings taking place during the same time as ours?

* No. Your special time is yours and yours only.

Does anyone know how many weddings can be booked per day? Since mine is on a Saturday I'm envisioning a row of brides tapping their feet impatiently waiting for me to hurry up and get out of the gazebo! I've been asking Gaby, but she keeps telling me not to worry since anyone else on October 10th will be working with another wedding coordinator.

I'm probably panicking over nothing, but I figure this is probably the place to do it!

Maybe they just do two small weddings if people are renewing vows...or any of the free weddings they offer where there isnt going to be a reception afterwards. I know Im not gonna have my reception at like noon just so the next couple can get married at 6pm or something. Its MY (OUR) day, not any one elses!!!! Hahaha

So here's my conversation with Gaby so far about multiple weddings per day:

We'd like to book for October 10th, 2009. On your website, it says that

there will only be one wedding per day. Is there a chance that someone

else will book my date as well? I ALREADY BOOOK THAT DFOR YOU J

And if the other wedding coordination book that day for some else is going to be ok because I going to work with you so all my attention is your ok and you donâ€t have to be worried for that J

Then she got confused about the date, so I sent this...

Hi Gaby,

In the last e-mail you sent to me, you said that you had already booked

October 10th for me. Here is the clip from that e-mail, sent on 7/17/08: So do you want October 10th, 2008 or July 17 2009?? Iâ€m confusing Iâ€m sorry L L

Here in the hotel we have 2 weddings coordinator, my boss and I I have me own clients and she have her own clients too I can do 2 weddings in the same date but I I book one date for you my boss can made another wedding the same date but different time, but DONâ€T WORRIED about!! Because in your wedding date Iâ€m going to be with you all the time ok J

Also, I asked you if there was any way that I could be notified if

anyone else books my date. Your website used to say that we would have

our date to ourselves, but it has been changed.

Donâ€t worried everything is fine I just need your wedding date J what date do you want exactly??

Let me know this as soon as you can please J

My best Regards J

Wow!!! I have had a problem with her answering my direct questions. I have had several email conversations with Gaby and it seems like she always "beats around the bush" and never answers the direct questions I ask her. Most of my questions are yes or no questions, or they ask for a specific price. She seems like a nice girl and hard working, but I dont think they realize that we dont want to share our day with anyone else. Its all about us on OUR DAY (not our TIME.)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
