Recommended Posts

I just finished going over the entire thread!!! I love the pineapplr candle idea!!!! It s soo cool. I am so excited for you your wedding is right around the corner!

We put down the deposit and they are holding May 1, 2010!! I agree that all of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I spoke to Gabi and Kevin to get more info and they were really nice.

My travel agent loves the resort and highly recommended it.

What did you end up deciding to do about the flowers?

Congrats on setting your date at the Coyaba!! This time last year we had just gone done for a site visit. You will not be disappointed! Everyone is so wonderful and the resort is the perfect size.

Our day is not even a month away and I'm totally calm and not worried bc I know Joanne and the rest of the gang will make everything perfect.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions! The girls on this board have been very helpful as well!

Congratulations!

My wedding is 2 weeks away and I am both excited and nervous, but Coyaba has a great team of people there.

I decided to go the "bring your own centerpeices" route. The centerpiece prices were a little too much for me. I am doing a combo rocks, candles, coral and sand centerpiece. I know it sounds like alot, but I really don't have to pack too much. I rented the vases from the florist and I am bringing everything else.

Wow Maida...just 2 weeks away? That's so great. I hope you have a wonderful time at Coyaba and have a beautiful wedding. Please make sure to post some pictures for us to see. And to all the other Coyaba Brides, good luck soon enough your "big" day will be upon you. Only 56 more days for me!!!

I went with the flower centerpieces from Sandra at the Flower Studio. I told her what I wanted to spend on each table and she sent me some photos of pieces that will work nicely. I intially was gonna to do a Glass Container filled with sand, sea shells, star fish and a candle. But, I really want to limit the amount of stuff in my suit cases.

Talk to you girls soon!

Dana

WOW I am so excited for you guys. I love the centerpiece ideas. How many guests are you guys expecting?? Have they been accomodating with the arrangements?

Have a great time!! Can't wait to hear all about your experience when you return. Where are you guys going for your honeymoon?

All the best

Jen

Thanks! :) I will post pics as soon as I can.

I have about 53 people attendng. I have been having reservation issues, becuase people are booking last minute (like this past weeknd!) and they have been very accomodating. They totally understand and have been working with me on it.

We decided on a 10 day cruise, we are soooo excited! We are both a little tired of planning and want to enjoy some time together.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
