Ahh thanks...I will do that...I will try and figure it out...I know my brother-in-law is a total computer wizard too so maybe when he gets home today I can call him and get him on it! Anyways I do have to get some work done here and I am just way to engrossed in the forum today so I will sign off for now and hopefully be posting some good news that the video is posted when I get back on tonight!

Hi Ann,

Well I know this is a long time a coming and you have probably forgot about it by now but we managed to get 4 of the videos that my brother in law taped the day of the wedding on to our site... jeffandali.org! Now these aren't the ones that we actually paid for and I know the quality isnt the best because of where we downloaded them but it will give you a little more of an idea of the area! Its breathtaking and I still get all excited watching the clips and going through the photos! Anyways again sorry it took so long but I have just been too busy to really worry about it...oh and on the site you go to video links...thats where they will all be!

I would love to see one of the girls video's who had theirs done at Las Caletas. I think Marla asked this on the other thread - and I am pretty sure they put your video to music, but do they also allow you to hear the sound, like of the vows?

They had some of the ceremony on it...like the part where Jeff and I were saying our vows to each other...and part of our sand ceremony...and him announcing us husband and wife but not the whole speaking part. I have no idea if that helps or not or just sounds confusing but just wanted you to know!

I thought it was worth it.  Keep in mind I was married there in 2007 so things could have changed, but in terms of quality it wasn't as good as they come but then again it wasn't bad...and it wasn't that expensive either so I wasn't expecting TV quality.

I would get it again.  Your guests with video cameras won't have time to be guests if they tape everything so their videos won't be comprehensive.  If it's in the budget I say go for it!

We don't watch it every month but we do watch it from time to time and it's better than pictures for reliving the day :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
