I didn't used to have a Ben & Jerry's preference, but my sweetie is hard core about his Ben & Jerry's, so now I'm hooked too! We had a romantic weekend getaway in Vermont a couple weeks ago and hit the Ben & Jerry's factory. They call digging through the ice cream for the good parts "Chunk Spelunking."

That's crazy! Did they discuss the origin of her last name? I'm dying to know how a person ends up with a name like that!

Sapphire, have you tried Banana on the Rum from Ben & Jerry's? I haven't been able to find it at the grocery store so it's lessened my addiction. The shop is a bit of drive so I have to be really craving it to drive the distance. Haven't decided if that's a good or a bad thinghuh.gifjerry.gif

No! That sounds good. I sometimes fry bananas in Kaluha and serve it hot with a scoop of ice cream. That would probably be a great ice cream to try with that. I'll keep my eye out for it.

That last name is awesome!

I am watching Platinum Weddings and that is the bride's maiden name.

I saw that show! Couldn't believe it when I saw that name. I sure would like to know the origin - did somebody make it up? Was it something else and they changed it into ICECREAM? Do people do that?? I was blown away.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
