it was perfect. I loved the music. i enjoyed it the most after the ceremony. our guests had left & we were dancing to one of our songs on some rock steps in the water.

it was a bit of a blur, but I heard the music.

I just realized that I didn't cry at all.

we wrote our vows 2 days before on beach chairs at the ceremony site & read them to each other. I cried so hard. so maybe I got it all out for the ceremony.

I am glad it was perfect!

I saw the pictures of you all writing your own vows. I asked Jay if he wanted to do that and he says he isn't good with words...so, it's okay. And, I think he will be too nervous, so it's just better if he repeats after the JP.

mike did a much better job than me. I had so much on my mind with the wedding that I didn't want to even try to memorize them. I wish I would have. I can usually memorize things so easily I should have just done it. So I had the notecard out, but I wanted to look at mike not the card. so i lost my place. i'll see how it actually sounds when I watch the video, but I feel like I did a bad job reading them. Then mike went next & he was so awesome. I alos kissed him after i read mine & then realized we weren't supposed to kiss yet. it just felt like the natural thing to do after reading vows to him.

oh well, it wasn't an audition for anything. If I was overwhelmed with emotion & got flustered that is fine. smile36.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
