I'm in the same boat here. My wedding was May 30th. At the ceremony Paulina said it would take 4 weeks. It's been 6 weeks and I'm already freaking out. The most frustrating thing is that she just doesn't answer emails.

I just want some idea of how long it should take. I'm glad to hear that everyone hasn't gotten their pictures though and they love them, even if it is taking 3 months sad.gif

I am with you. My wedding was May 15th. I only did the trash the dress session with her luckily. I used Elizabeth Lloyd for the wedding and Paulina for the TTD. I have my wedding photos back but no sign of the TTD. I enjoyed working with her even though I don't speak Spanish. I am okay waiting on them but I am not okay with not responding to my emails. How many attempts have you made to contact her?

That's bad news for me if your session was 15 days before mine sad.gif

I feel the same way, fine with waiting, but just need to know that they remember me. It's just that she specifically told us it would take 4 weeks. At the 5 week mark, I sent a total of 6 emails, to two different email address and nothing has been responded to. I had no problems getting a hold of them while I was transferring money before the wedding!

Also at the mark of the 5th week I started getting a little crazy and contacted a girl that I saw was a fan on Paulina's Facebook page and asked how long it took her to get her pictures. She said it took about 8 weeks, double the time she was told, but very well worth the wait.

I hope we can both say the same. I am really excited about my pictures but am so frustrated about the lack of communication. I was really looking forward to a teaser of some sort when we came back from our honeymoon too.

How many times have you tried to contact her?

I have only tried twice. I am about to contact my wedding coordinators to get in touch with her.

Her lack of contact is exactly why I didn't choose her for my actual wedding photos. I am so sorry you are still waiting on those!

How did you find her facebook page? I have looked for it. The told me to friend her so I could see teaser pictures but I have not been able to find her.

Still no word from her. My coordinator has been trying to contact her regarding both me and another bride they did a wedding for. I saw she posted some new photos on facebook but hasn't responded to any of my emails. Now I know she isn't dead or seriously injured, just ingoring us. I am so sorry yours are your wedding photos. I would be going nuts if I didn't have those back. I am extremely frustrated and mine are just the trash the dress photos. I am glad she was too slow to respond when booking and I went with Elizabeth Lloyd. Her photos turned out great and she was a pleasure to work with.

I plan on using Paulina Ulloa for my March wedding. I'm so sorry that you guys are having to wait. I'm sure it's really stressful. I just really love her work and am willing to take that risk.

I know when she sent me her package rates it said at the bottom that proofs would be presented 60 days after the wedding date and final work would be presented 60 day after written final order has been received.

We are on day 87, so close to 30 days after what it said in the contract I signed too. I heard back from her 2 weeks ago telling me that they were close to being finished, but it has been a looooong time. This has made our thank you notes delayed as we'd like to include some pics in each. I suggest that when you actually meet her, ask her directly about some of the feedback that you've heard in regards to timing for the pictures. I have full confidence that I'll get my pictures and she was such a joy to work with but it's kind of put me in a funk waiting for them :(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
