I am going to do my best to get some much needed extra sleep & chill the hell out!

I've spent today unpacking a few straggler boxes & putting up pictures & stuff. I realized I should not be allowed to hammer things into the wall by myself -so I stopped actually hanging things. I also started putting together our guest room (posted some pics in my blog). I need to run out & buy a duvet cover & matress pad.

Didn't I say I was going to relax?

I'm working all weekend sad.gif I told myself I was going to start slowing down and not working so much. So what did I do? Picked up Sunday night. But it's considered the holiday (for night-shifters, the holiday is the night before) and I'll be in overtime. That means it's time-and-a-half of my holiday double-time-and-a-half, meaning I'll be making basically quadruple time. That's a whole week's worth of work in one night. Yup, couldn't pass it up!

So you all enjoy your barbecues. I'll be sleeping :)

Hey can I play too even though I'm not American and last weekend was our holiday weekend:) Today is cleaning day, nice weather is trying oh so hard to come our way, but it is struggling, tonight we are off to the drive in with the kids to see Speed racer and Ironman. Tomorrow we have Bria's gymnastic competition (she is a provincial athlete, #1 in all of Ontario in her division), and we also have Timothy's football game, so we have to figure out how to be in two places at one time, not easy for Everton since he is Timothy's football coach. Kenda went to Ottawa for the weekend so I am also spending some time worrying, the joys of motherhood:)

Hey Andrea wish I could be at your barb-q too, have fun!!!

Went out and got hammered last night without planning to, but Tom and I ran into a bunch of friends and ended up staying out til like 4am and having a blast.

Today -- laid on the couch most all day, lol ... and eventually made it to Cracker Barrel for hangover food and then to Home Depot to try to spend some of our wedding gift cards.

Tonight -- we might stay in (still have that fuzzy head feeling).

Tomorrow I have to work at this big hot air balloon festival. We have a bunch of wine tents so I have to pour wine from 4-11pm both Sunday and Monday. PLus I have to run my regular customer route on Monday for any bars and restaurants that are open. Ugh. Not much holiday time in the wine industry since holidays mean we are extra busy.

But we get 2 extra days off since we work tomorrow and Monday ... so we're hoping to take a long weekend trip in July. :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
