Yeah the start of the summer is here smile29.gif Memorial Day Weekend!!!

What is everyone doing?

I had a very late business meeting last night then went out to dinner with my FI at a Spanish Tapas place - it was yummy :)

We are leaving in 1/2 hour to go for a day hike with another couple and then will probably BBQ or have dinner with them.

Tomorrow we are going to my parents house (early) and spending the day lounging by the pool and swimming - then my mom is making dinner.

Monday, FI's mom family is having a BBQ but we may bail out of that and get some stuff done at our house.

overall, it should be beautiful weather so i am excited!!!

The weather in Southern Cali sucks this weekend. It is totally raining...sigh. Oh well.

My FI and I are heading to West Hollywood tonight to celebrate a friend's birthday. We are staying at the Hyatt, so we won't have to drive. Yay! Lots of drinking to be had.

On Sunday,we are going to Drea's BBQ and then on Monday shopping for a BBQ island and outdoor dining set.

I am looking forward to it!

we have friends in town from mexico, they are out shopping right now so i am getting some invitation projects done on the computer and surfing bdw. i have to hop in the shower soon to get ready for the day and go grocery shopping, we are hosting a BBQ at our place tonight with about 8-10 people. the weather is beautiful here today - we went out to breakfast and ate on the patio and it was so sunny. i drank my colonix juice out on my terrace this morning while our guests were showering.

tomorrow i dont know whats in store, but monday our friends leave, and other friends arrive and we have tickets to the cubs game!

oh the weather is amazing this weekend (finally!)

I had yesterday off as well and went to see a friend who had a baby a week ago (gotta see what I am in for)...this morning DH went on a long bike ride and I nested-cleaned the entire downstairs, now I am super tired and want to eat! Ahh the life of a preggo lady.

Anyway we have baby stuff to do this weekend, we need to pack our hospital bags and finish the baby laundry. We are planning on just enjoying one of our last weekends before baby arrives!

You girls all sounds like you are having much more exciting weekends than us though-HAVE FUN!!!

Jay went back to work on Tuesday and wont be back until right before the wedding... sad.gif

So...I am all alone. I am watching Lifetime right now. I will get in the shower after this movie is over and get dressed. I need to go shopping for a bridal shower I am hosting next weekend and I need to pick up some iron ons for my OOT bags.

I will work on my thesis tonight, tomorrow and Monday. Joy, eh?

Oh and later tonight I will go visit my sister. She just had back surgery so I need to go try to tke her mind off the pain.

It's a bit too hot here and muggy, but today we're going to my sister's house to go swimming, tomorrow we have a BBQ to go and I think Monday we're just going to take it easy, I do have some work that I need to do. I've been trying to convince DH to go to a Bikkram class with me, but I haven't been very successful maybe this Monday.

I love Lifetime! It's so dramatic and sometimes I think the movies bash men too much, but I like to watch it on Sundays sometimes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
