The tall white gazebo at the Palace can be used as a site right?
Mine was in English and I don't even remember them asking me if I wanted it to be in Spanish. But if you want it to be in Spanish i don't think itâ€s going to be too hard to find a Spanish speaking minister!!! msnwink.gif

The white gazebo can be used for the ceremony. The only thing is that it's very out in the open.... Not really private. I loved the way it looked but i chose more private location between the palm trees..

I don't think there is a name for the ceremony location. It took place right in front of the closet buffet to the gazebo.

My ceremony was not legal. And my minister spoke great English!! Even the jokes were right on time!! :)

Hi! I'm getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace on Dec. 22, 2008. I don't know what to do about a photographer. Should I bring one from Dallas (my hometown), find one in Playa, or trust the photographer at the Palacehuh.gif Have any of you seen (or heard good/bad things about) the pictures taken by the Barcelo photographer?

Several brides have told me to NOT use the hotel photographer! If you have the $, I would fly in your own. If you are on some sort of budget, I would use a photog in Mexico. But, I would book it now if you are using someone in Mexico, because my first choice was booked 3 months ago for January sad.gif
Also, they say they don't accept outside photographers, but my WC ASSURED me, with a day-pass it's fine. I'm just not going to make a big deal and hope it's all ok :)

Hello! I am getting married at Barcelo Maya January 24, 2009! I would love to hear any comments or see any pictures any of you may have! Do any of you have any information on menu choices or what the flower options look like? Also, what kind of centerpieces are you using/did you use? Any information you have will certainly help! Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
