Hi ladies!! Sorry I have been MIA since the wedding I have just been crazy at work and settling in. I have received my highlight video and I thought maybe it would help get a few of the girls familiar with Barcelo. I know how stressful it can be planning a wedding in a different country and have no idea what some of the areas look like. I was not lucky enough to have done a site visit prior to the wedding so I was a bit nervous. I will let you know now as hard as it seems at times to relax and not stress! They did an outstanding job from the minute we checked in!!! Everyone who came was extremely satisfied with the resort, the food, the activities and of course the wedding! There is something for everyone at this resort! No one wanted to leave!! lol I will definitely do an extended review I am just waiting for my pictures to complete. 

 

One suggestion I do have is to make sure you budget a videographer!!! I cant say how much this video meant to us. We waited two months and just the minute we received we BOTH have watched it over and over again. It was so nice to be able to relive the moment again!!! We used Mike Cantarell from Cancun Wedding Video. He was great!!! I will also do a review when I have a chance hopefully this week! 

 

We were married at the gazebo and my reception was at Coco Beach. My wedding coordinator was Claudia Vasquez. I hope you ladies enjoy!!!

Hello ladies, I am new to this forum and in the process of booking my wedding at the Barcelo Palace. I am inviting 105 expecting around 50-60 to attend. The WC I spoke with said that with this amount of people I would need to go with the strawberry package so right off the bat it is looking pricey. Has anyone had/planning a wedding with a group this large and if so would you mind telling me roughly the total cost? I am having a tough time figuring it out Thanks ladies:)

Hi all - Here's our highlight video from our wedding at the Palace in April 2013; we had 65 guests, the ceremony was on Coral Beach and the reception was at the Palmeras Grill.  We had Claudia as a wedding coordinator - she was AWESOME!  You can even see her run and straighten my dress when I am about to walk down the aisle :)   http://vimeo.com/69335405

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
