Also, has anyone who is travelling with Air Transat talked to their travel agent about the three new wedding packages that they are offering at the Barcelohuh.gif They seem quite reasonably priced if you have 10 or 12 people flying out of the same place, etc, but I wonder if you'd get the same level of service from the people at the hotel if they're not getting all of the $$. Txs in advance.
Hi beachbride17. I noticed you have your weddin date set for January 28. We are having ours on January 30. I thought I'd give you a shout out. How is everything going?

The WC's definitely get much better once your wedding is about 2 months away...so don't stress! I'd also be interested in hearing about what people picked for dinner and cake. I'm still a little undecided about the menu. Did anyone have the cocktail hour with apps? I'm going with the Mexican package but not sure what apps to pick. Any suggestions? THanks!

We had a food tasting in July when we were down there....everything was DELICIOUS!!! My fiance's family is straight from Italy, so this was very important to us. We were so nervous....but were soooo surprised and happy!! Even the presentation was amazing!

Hey dbares,

Great to see someone else getting married around the same date. Planning is going okay. I still haven't received the menu yet and can't decide if I want to pay the extra for the reception in an outside grillhuh.gif Getting a little stressed but I know it'll all come together. How is your planning going?

Thanks for posting the photos BethBride! Can't wait to go for my site visit in January! Question about the food tasting- did you have to pay extra for that?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
