It'll give all you lovely ladies an idea of Barcelo...their wedding was stunning...lovedddddddd Erica's dress and the reception in the French restaurant was soooo pretty! (in case you read this Erica, everything was beautiful and Elizabeth went above and beyond, as she always does!)...congrats to you and Doug again!

 

I know we all want an outdoor reception...but the French restaurant looks so elegant! For the ladies who are getting married in the summer months...you'll be in air conditioning if unexpected circumstances come up and you're put indoors (on the bright side!)...and just like Erica had said in an earlier post, don't stress...it all comes together in the end! I mean, c'mon, look at those pics!

Hi ladies,

 

I just wanted to say hi and thank everyone for the wonderful posts!!! My fiance and I are in the process of booking our flights with Transat, mailing out invitations next week and confirming our wedding date (that is on hold for us). We are getting married at the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort. The property looks beautiful from the pictures that I have seen and reading all of the positive reviews looks so promising. I hope I can be helpful and be able to answer of ppls questions along the way too =)

 

I know that the deal Transat is giving us for booking guests is that for 26 people that book, the 27th person only has to pay taxes ($272). That will be a savings of $1372 for us. Not as good of a deal as WestJet, but every 'free' bit helps. Also, I do agree that having a dedicated and caring TA is important!

Wow Erica's photos are amazing! Originally I was planning on using the Barcelo's photographer, but the more photos I see from Elizabeth Medina the more I want to go with her. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure of what her price range is for shooting a wedding/reception? I'm not planning on doing a TTD or anything.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
