Hey girls! Just thought I would let u know that if anyone is planning on doing OOT bags there are some great deals at michaels right now! They have mini seeing kits for .50 cents!!! Also notebooks etc!

hello ladies,

did anybody have something different for their cocktail hour? (we are having the strawberry passion package) ei. guest just gathered at the lobby bar to have snacks instead of having the cocktail menu.  any suggestions?  im trying to see if its worth it.  any suggestions?

Oh that's a great question! I'm wondering about the same thing! I know we'll be taking pictures after the ceremony so I was thinking of having the cocktail hour..but anything to save money would be great! Couldn't they all just hang out at the bar for an hour or so? :)

We wanted to save money where we could as well and our group had no issue with just hanging out together at a bar having drinks. We told them where to meet us in the end for the reception and they ended up hanging out as a group at the pool bar nearby. Everyone had eaten breakfast and lunch so no one complained about us not having cocktails, plus dinner was so large everyone was full soon enough.

Sorry, I haven't been on her lately. I went with Adrian from the Styling Trio ... 100000% worth it. My make up lasted as its airbrushed plus he was so much fun to hang out with ! I did bring a lot of my own stuff but that that much. We had our reception on the beach so we bought closed in lanterns with candles and brought those down as well as a few other items like favors and place cards. Nothing crazy. I would suggest bring as much as you can and looking around online for the best prices.

No, I had the strawberry package and served Surf and Turf. It costs nothing different. As for the extra hours its $15 per person and hour. We were able to negotiate an extra hour as we had 80 guests....however when the party was suppose to end we extended it another hour and I think we paid only $850

We got married at Playa Azul and had our cocktail hour there on the beach at the cabana thing.  It was really nice and a great place for everyone to hang out while we were taking pictures with the wedding party.  700

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
