I have a friend that got married at Barcelo in 2010 and her chair bows were chocolate brown which I do not see in the list of options.  Has anyone taken their own fabric for the bows or is it possible that there will be other options when I get there?

I can't see your link but I got a response with chair bow colours available from planner Victoria and didn't see purple so when I messaged her back saying our colour was purple and we would bring our own she said they had them and emailed me a picture. 

 

Perhaps you could double check with her and see if they have the colour or not.

Did anyone bring a cake topper or bring anything to dress up their cake?

I'm bringing a cake topper and when I told my wedding coordinator she didn't seem to have an issue with that.

We brought a cake topper....which we accidentally forgot to give to our coordinator.

 

Didn't matter though because no one really paid any attention to the cake. They were more enamored with the fact they were eating, drinking and dancing on a beach in Mexico

Hello ladies-

 

I am getting married at Barcelo Maya Palace on March 22, 2013 and I am excited! If anyone has any advise and ideas please let me know as in music,flowers, cakes, ect.

We didn't bring a cake topper or anything for the cake and no one noticed.  Everyone was so full from all the food and drinks that only 1 or 2 people actually had a piece of cake!  Too much other fun stuff going on
