Hi! I'm just trying to get my wedding date set and resort booked. I called on Tuesday and spoke with Victoria. She told me to email the bride and grooms names and that she would repley confirming the date and time. Everyone's getting anxious to start booking. Is this the usual process? I know it takes a while for them to respond, but I'm worried that I'll loose my date. Any suggestions??

Lilly

Cara, your siggy pic is awesome!

Hi! I see you're getting married on April 30. I'm waiting for my email back from Victoria confirming our date, April 20. Did you have to wait long? Did you have to call again? We want to start booking, but I'm worried about the wedding date.

Thanks,
Lilly

Hi Lilly i felt the same as you. They will hold your date for 2months anyway so gives you a chance to book up then once booked she will confirm for you. But when i emailed Victoria our details etc she replied within the week to confirm the date. They are a little slow with their replys but they are very good and work hard. I know it's hard but try not to stress i'm sure Victoria will email you soon :o)

YAY! We booked our ceremony and reception locations!! I'm so excited, it feels so good to have a decision made. We are having our ceremony at Coral Beach (which we have to pay $15 extra per person to have it there because we are staying at the Colonial) But thats ok because I really want to have it there. We are having our reception at Playa Azul - so right on the beach, woo hoo!

I apologize if this question has already been answered...I tried doing a search but I didn't really see this question anywhere.

If I have other guests staying at the Beach, Colonial, or Tropical, do they have to pay for a day pass to attend the wedding?

Thanks ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
