Mine, he is going to get a S&M.gif and not the kind he would like. I am so frustrated. I asked him what would you like to do sweety because he was feeling left out. I have him the entire list to pick from. He picked the music. This was in early November. He said oh I will have it done by the 20th. It is January and he still hasn't done a thing. I am so pissed. I will be doing it on Monday if he doesnt do it this weekend when I am at work.

So yes my guy is driving me crazy!!! You are not alone.

Okay- finally with less than a week before we leave, have I started to cross things off my list.

-printed off, cut out and applied monogrammed stickers to the OOT bags (pretty cute!)

-dress is being minorly altered (ready on monday- we leave on wed!)

-have pretty good idea of music

FMIL still doesn't have her trip booked!!!!!! Seriously- WTF?! I've been promised that it will actually happen tomorrow. We shall see!! At this point, I could care less but I know it would make FI happy.

SO- still need to get nails/toes done, waxed, fake lashes put on, tan a few more times.. pack..oh, and loose that last 10 freaking #$%*& pounds that refuse to come off!!

I hear you all on the clueless FI's.. Mine actually had the nerve to bitch at me for spending $150 at Target today. I feel like I drop that much everytime I turn around these days! JUST GO WITH THE FREAKING FLOW!!!!

Okay- I'm done (for now!). Hang in there ladies- we're almost there! Just try not to kill anyone!!! =)

Seriously...I still have to work 5 days!! And I leave in 9 sleeps!!! wtf.gif

On the plus side...my mom will be here tonight - hopefully I can send her on a few tasks. The only problem is she doesn't drive (not in the "big city"!) so while I'm at work, she still won't be able to get most of these things done! At least I won't have to worry about cooking & cleaning though! :)

YAY - today is my last day of work before the wedding! And last night we FINALLY made the CDs of music for pre-ceremony and ceremony...I listened this morning at the gym and can't wait to get down to Mexico so I can time the walks down the aisle so everything is perfect :)

I was planning to start packing this past Tuesday, but don't have enough suitcases yet so I'm going to start tonight and get it all done this weekend...I'm SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!

the last of our bridal party gifts came in last night so everything is ready to go...just need to print off the welcome letters and do one small DIY project at my sisters tomorrow and we'll be set...what a relief!

Just a piece of info for you sunquest/skyservice brides. I found out a piece of info lastnight that was quite helpful when talking with my TA. I guess if you have a group booked your seating is pre-booked for you. This means we are at the front of the plane..yehaw and we don't need to get to the airport as early!!!! Bonus!!! 4 am comes very quickly!

I knew about the complimentary advanced seat selection...but I didn't know we were in the front of the plane! I requested the rows behind the emergency exit rows...simply because FI & I are going to try & get emergency exit seats...he's 6'4" 250 and doesn't really like to fly! lol

Oh...& something else I forgot...I'm still waiting to get my hair flowers & pashminas!! I hope they get here in time!!!

Mine wasn't and I flew skyservice booked through Sunquest. We actually tried to pre book sicne we needed two people as far away as possible from each other and eventhough the lady at the counter said I got your back she put them one row apart!! My seats were given away before I checked in. Since I was travelling with two little children they had us in the front row for the more space but we ended up in row 18. On the way back we got row one. So I say don't expect to placed together but if you do, bonus!

Congratulations on your wedding Saraece! Did you get something from sunquest stating your seats were booked via email?? I guess my TA did on Dec 11th right after we put final deposits down and it said our seat numbers.
I am not sure we are right at the front...my TA might have booked it that way - she did this for us. I am sitting beside my MOH and my hubby ...in seats 6a, 6b and 6c. So i would think that is fairly close to the front.
Got the shuttle prob sorted out too i think...my TA guarantees me that there will be a shuttle to pick us up at 4. We will confirm this again upon check in.
I got to thinking and I actually don't have too much to do ...pick up dress, get some jewellery, make last cd, make itinerary, finish tanning and get my nails done. Most of my packing is already done so I am sitting in good shape :)
Get those bubba kegs primed up for good use!!! *lol* a drink or two might not hurt.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
