I did get it all waxed! I have done it before but not in like 4 or 5 years~ my damn waxer left the salon and didn't tell me where she went. You can't just let anyone down there ya know! I will say that its uncomfortable (both from a pain standpoint and a there's stranger looking at my who-ha standpoint lol), but really only one or two spots are really ouchy. And the end result is way worth it. The first time you go is the worst. After that it gets less painful and you know what to expect so its not as uncomfortable. The absolute worst part is if she tweezes the hairs that didn't go with the wax. But normally I just say don't bother I'll do it when I get home. Its way less painful for me to do that part myself. I would recommend going to a spa to have it done. This is the least painful wax I have ever gotten. They are all about relaxation at spas and believe it or not they try to make this process as painless as possible.

I did find that song, thanks for the help!

I cannot believe that in less then one week I will be married!!! I still feel like I have a lot to do, but for some weird reason I am calm about getting it all done, which is weird cause when I had two months left I would wake in the middle of the night freaking out! I hope all you January brides have an awesome wedding!!

Oh Kelly...you're a brave woman!!! LOL
I still dunno...I've had extended bikini waxs before...but never in those "sensitive" areas!! I'm so torn - yes, no, do I have time! Decisions, decisions!!!

So...I started packing last night & realized I am sitting pretty for getting my wedding stuff down there. I realized that I don't have as much stuff as I thought!! WOOHOOO. I still have to make Tshirts & welcome books, but they shouldn't take up too much space! Thank god for family & friends who are taking some stuff for me...I definitely wouldn't be able to do it without them!!

Everything looks fabulous girls... I will do my planning thread next weekend hopefully. Girls, make sure we post our wedding photo links, reviews and a link to EVERYTHING in here... I don't want to miss out!

Tracy, we are still looking at Vancouver/Whistler for our honeymoon in late Feb, early March... but we are looking in the states too. Very expensive! Where have you stayed in Whistler, if you have?

Hey Kate!

So if you are coming to Vancouver one the nicest hotels is the Fairmont, its right downtown and beautiful, a little expensive but so worth it! Just make sure you stay somewhere close to granville/robson or buarrd/robson, it close to the action and great shopping!!

As for Whistler, anywhere in the main village should be ok (this is important otherwise you will have to cab it to the main village from the south/north side), we stayed at the Hilton in October and we‘ve stayed at the Sundial Boutique Hotel couple of times (small rooms but super cute)!

Let me know what you ended deciding!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
