Chicklet, I don't think it's weird... some people might be pooped from the night before but I'd be up for it! You will have a blast!

Batchabride... I am super excited... a little anxious but not stressed. It'll all get done. I just have a bunch of little things on my plate right now!

Hey Kate – thatâ€s too funny, date twins!! When are you coming to Van/Whistler, right after Mexico? Have you been out here before? We were just up in Whistler mid October for a little getaway, you must be skier?!!

From your post the other day it sounds like your planning is on schedule; I just received my totes for the welcome bags so we will put the logo on them this weekend! Like you said .. its all the little things that are left to do!! elefant.gif

Hi Tracy, we were thinking of coming in February. I have a meeting the week of Feb 9th and that was our original plan, so we are thinking of towards the end of the month for 4-5 days. When we first started dating we talked about wanting to go to Vancouver/Whistler someday... and since we are already doing a week at the beach it seemed like the ideal time! We got engaged on a ski trip last year so we want to keep it up... we are not excellent skiiers by any means but we have fun! You'll have to help us figure out where to stay if you have any advice!
So how are you having the logo put on your totes? I am trying to figure out how to do that right now... to have them embroidered or screen printed. What does your logo look like? I hear you on all of the little things! Cheers! bunny_4.gif

It's been a while since I've been on here but here's a little update:

Going to see a venue for AHR tomorrow

Got BM beach bags embroidered and all gifts to go inside (I'd still really like some cheap spa robes)

Making BM tank tops and personalized underwear for myself this week

Dropped off luggage tags and key holders at the printers

Ordered custom mugs

Ordered bathing suits and lingerie for the trip

Designed pre-wedding brochure (sister is finishing it)

Now I just get to wait for all this stuff to start arriving.

What's nexthuh.gif?

Hi ladies, so I've just been lurking on this thread lately and watching your progress. In 39 days I'll be in Mexico! Yay! lol So, I have A LOT left to do. Lots of little things and few that are bigger. Finally we ordered FI's pants and flip flops. He's still shirtless tho. My dress is in. My fitting is next Thursday. Still waiting for BM dresses to arrive. They're LATE. We still don't have rings. Recently we've decided we might go for inexpensive rings that were not exactly what I was hoping for at first, but since all of our payments are coming due I don't know if we want to spend the money on the rings right now. We might just wait til later in 2009 and upgrade them.

I do have all of my accessories and jewelry. Our OOT bags are all set. And I'm sooo ready to pack. I just ordered bathing suits from VS online and can't wait for them to come in. I'm now not only addicted to BDW, but to online shopping. Its dangerous! doh.gif

That is what we are doing. My e-ring requires a custom band, but with the new house & christmas it's just not in our budget right now. FI actually picked up our bands today. Mine is about a 1/4" wide band with tiny diamonds & sapphires alternating around it - I LOVE it! I will wear my e-ring on my right hand until we get the custom one for it. I decided to go with the non-traditional wedding band because now when I get my "real" one I will have a really nice ring to wear on my other hand!

Good luck with the rest of your list!!

Ooh, I like the idea of a ring like yours! Good thinking being able to wear it on your other hand later on. I should convince FI to get up at 5am and go shopping for a ring tomorrow. Bet we'd get a good deal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
