Suit from LeChateau (pants will match they're ordered). I think we're doing the GM in only the vest. Do you guys think those suits with aqua dress shirt would look okayhuh.gif That's what FI wants he doesn't like how plain the white shirt looks.

Hi Erin,

Welcome to the thread. We are going to honeymoon at the Aventura Spa Palace (Jan 24-31) after getting married down the Riviera at the Grand Palladium. Good luck with the invites. We did ours really cheap by sending them via e-mail cheesy.gif

ok girls, i need some advice! my colors for the wedding are navy blue and "sunflower" yellow (not to be specific or anything...haha), and i'm trying to envision our ceremony....

colors (bmaids' dress detail with sash)

this picture is from the sheraton hacienda del mar website and is basically what made me want a DW....

soooo, we won't be that close to the water but oh well! i know we'll have white chair covers (required and provided), but i can't decide if i want white sashes or navy sashes on the chairs....white sashes are free but navy are approx. $4 per sash...the petals will be yellow rose petals instead of pink, and i don't want anything @ the "altar" (just me, scott, preacher, and 5 attendants on each side)....SOOOOO what do you think: navy sashes or no? i can't decide if it's worth the cash...? ((same dilemma for the reception))

let me know what you think.....other suggestions are welcome! cheer2.gif

Albertabride: Love your "digs"- just learned that word from my little cousins, ha. You are going to look beautiful, and your baby girl is sooooooo cute! FH not so bad himself! I think aqua shirts would be great, not sure if it will look a little....um... feminine with the vest though. Try it out and see what you think!

Nicole: I do like the colored bows.... but I think that if you kept white no one would notice:-)

If you use yellow flower petals, you might want to use a little more so that it will show up against the sand:-) I think not having anything up at the front is perfect! I'm not either.

albertabride-I LOVE your dresses, and have to also tell you how precious your little one is :) Everything will look GREAT!!! Where did you find your GM/FI attire? We have my FI's suit, but nothing for the GM's yet.

Nicole-I was having the same dilemma with the sashes too. We're having royal blue and deep pink BM dresses and decided to stick with white sashes. I was worried it would "clash" if the colors didn't match up. But, at the same time I'm OCD about stuff like that lol.

Dez(And anyone else interested)-I'm only having 22 guests but LOVE these cups. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...+changing+cups BUT, you have to order like 200 of them. If we could get enough people to split them I would love to. They wouldn't be able to be too personalized, but Mexico 2009 and a starfish or palmtree works for me...Anyone else interested?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
