davematthews...I think we're all at different resorts, so everything is a little different :) I hope someone from your resort reads your question so they can answer :)

It sounds like you are so on top of thing! I might borrow your list and tweak it for me :) Thanks for posting it!

lol hehe we'll I think I want them to look very similar to an actual travel brochure, just with our info. Tropical, and informative yet simple and exciting! The FI is the photoshop master. I'll write the material and he creates it. Sorry I don't know exactly what they'll be like, but will definetely post them :)

Hey girls!!! How's everyone coming with their planninghuh.gif Here's the thing...I LOVE THE SUMMER so much! In fact, July is my favorite month of the year. I know the Summer is gonna fly by, then fall will come, we'll have bachelorette parties, then the Holidays and BOOM January will sneak right up. We have 6 full months left basically. I feel very confident on where I'm at in the planning. I made an alphabetical wedding to-do list that is AWESOME. It's all in Microsoft Word, and I just cross stuff off, and add as I go. Just thought I would check-in on everyone and see how you are all doinhuh.gif? :)

I've been wondering what everyone else is up to also... I've been buying things for my OOT bags, which is lots of fun! I figured out what I'm doing for centerpieces, found great candle holders at Pier 1. I'm still in search of sunscreen for a dollar! lol Every time someone on here posts that they've found it I go out looking again and nothing... frown.gif I still have to do a couple of big things, like pick my wedding package with the resort, but honestly I'm not too worried about it since I could get there and change my mind anyway. We're working on comparing pricing between a few options right now.

Andrea- I know from reading some of your other posts that you are getting a lot done!

Happily in my neck of the woods - we have now selected the BM dresses and I am going to order wedding bands on Friday!

Our booking closes at the end of July and we already have 48 ppl booked! WOOHOO!

So exciting.

I'm sure a lot of you read my posts abotu the issues FI and I have been having...so I've unofficially taken a break from planning...that being said lol

I think we narrowed down to two rings for FI and I have an idea of what I want.

BM dresses are basically ordered, we're just waiting for one friend to have her baby and then get sized, but they said that the order doesn't have to go in till Sept, so we have time (she's due end of July).

We're going to be ordering our invitations by the end of this week and hopefully they won't take too long to come in and we can get them out by the end of the summer.

I still have to find the AHR place and put a deposit down...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
