Need help from the super organzied brides!

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I am fairly new on the board, and I am kicking myself I did not join a long time ago. I am leaving for the wedding Sat May 24th late at night, so really May 25th (SUNDAY)

I am going crazy and I still feel like I have so much to do. Can anyone give me a quick heads up on last minute details you really wished you had gotten around to but hadn't. I can't think straight at this point. Everyone I talk to says "oh you're going away there CAN'T be much to do"

SO just any sort of help you can send my way would be great smile124.gif

I agree with everyone too, just go, get married & have the time of your life! Try to get as much done as you can before you leave but please don't stress too much over it. I too was up all night before we left & still forgot things at home. It bothered me on the plane and for a few days leading up to the wedding. But on the day of the wedding all the little things didn't matter at all.

Is packing all that is left to do? It doesn't take as much time as you would think either. I did mine HOURS before we left. LOL Granted I did forget a couple of minor things but still- it's doable. Just get it done earlier than a few hours and you will be golden.

I sat down and made a list of everything I needed. I started with wedding stuff and thought of all the crap I had purchased/made in the last year. I set it all out in the middle of my living room. I then mixed it up with my clothes to help keep things from breaking. It was super easy.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
