I purchased a Kirby Vacuum a couple months ago, and like you said it picks up EVERYTHING. It's amazing how much better our floors look now, plus it has helped with my allergies. I remember the first time I vacuumed my bed with the Kirby, it was the first night I woke up with no stuffy nose in the morning.

Good question, Tammy!

I TOTALLY agree about the Dyson Animal. We only have hardwood floors now but it still works wonders.

My other one is my Macbook. I love that thing and have used it daily for years and it's still going strong!

My best purchase has been my car. I bought a used 99 Sunfire from my aunt for $2000. It's in perfect working order & runs like a dream. It has a bigger gas tank, but is very gentle on actually using the gas! With the prices as high as they are and Mat owning a HUGE beast of a truck - it's been a lifesaver!!

He carpools to work & we use my car around town. We have saved SO much in gas since I got it, I don't know what we'd do without it!!!

I also own the Expedit bookshelves from Ikea. FI has so many books so we created a pseudo library in our office. We have two huge ones that line either side of the wall. Personally I think shoes and bags should go there but I guess I'll let him have his silly books. smile120.gif

The best purchase I ever made was contact lenses when I was 13 and Japanese Straigtening. Not having to spend endless hours blow drying my hair is the best thing ever!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
