You are such a strong and amazing person. I think I could have handled about 1/3 of what you did! The decorations and cake maybe....but the minister?? Oh no. I think I would have stopped the ceremony! My mom would have had a heart attack!!

 

By the way you looked so gorgeous and happy! I'm so glad you had amazing weather. Your review was helpful, NOT a downer!!

I'm so sorry that everything didn't go smoothly on your day, but I'm glad that you didn't let the mishaps ruin it for you. A positive attitude will go a long way in marriage! Anyway, you were gorgeous and you look so happy!! I love that dress too.

 

On a side note, I can't remember if I posted this in my review or not, but at least 5 of the 10 nights we were there we saw a waiter literally running thru the crowd of people watching the nightly entertainment with someones wedding cake above their head trying to get to a reception at Mammee Bay.

You certainly can't tell from your pics that you were not happy with how things went! You look great & your smile shows how happy you were.

While I was happy with my wedding overall, I too felt that there was a lack of direction.

 

It's good that you were able to have a great time despite the bumps.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
