it's easy did all mine last night. Just make sure they don't total more than $300/per person and don't register as a family, register as you and then your fiance so you both can take some of the items a receipts and get them counted separately.
Fab, it's not letting me download the templates because I'm on a mac. Bah.

I have broken all my stuff down into ziplocs - I am hoping this doesn't cause a problem. I did buy the ziplocs of stuff from another bride on the forum though, so I'm thinking about just taking that receipt and saying I bought the bags pre-made...which I essentially did...I wonder if that will work?

I love the Excellence in Cancun - Its where we got engaged :) Make sure you take advantage of their honeymoon package - their private beach dinner is amazing :)

48 hours, last day of work, and we are hoping to be finished with all packing 1st thing in the morning so we can enjoy the 4th with friends.

I have been meaning to ask this question all week and have been so swamped.

Has anyone heard of anyone getting sick from water or food at Moon Palace Just Curious!! The last time I heard of someone in a wedding party getting sick, it was after they ate/drank outside the resort.

Hey Shinbinea - we definitely are getting the honeymoon package! I'll never pass up a massage. LOL.

Tina, I have read that Cancun is on a water filtration system, so the water should be safe. I haven't heard of anyone getting sick there!

I'm SOOO excited for you! I can't believe how close you are. Doesn't it seem like yesterday we were months away??

Is anyone else having a Catholic ceremony? We were told that it's a symbolic ceremony and not a legally binding marriage.
Yes! I'm having a Catholic ceremony on May 29, 2010--they indicated ours was was only a symbolic ceremony as well--we're getting married legally in the U.S. beforehand so we can skip the bloodwork.

WOW Nina! It does seem like it was month away just yesterday. We are leaving at 6:00 in the morning for the airport.

AND of course, I just realized something else. Do we need converters for our latops, battery chargers, etc? I can't believe I am just thinking about this.

Hey Tina!

Well...I think you're already gone...(shriek!)...but I don't think you need converters!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
