hey girls fyi as for the ocean front rooms there is only a hand full of real "ocean front rooms"!!! dont waste your money or killing your self, every view is great. they consider a ocean front room if your room faces the ocean and you can see somepart even if it's 100 yrs away. we stayed with the kids for a fews days in one rooms verynice view and then moved when the kids went home with my mom and that was a "ocean front" really is was in front of the wedding chapel, we loved it, just not on the water like you think!

I totally agree!! Actually Moon Palace claims that every room has an ocean view. Which is mainly true...sometimes the ocean is just a little farther away. My sister booked through travelocity, not our TA and she actually ended up with the best ocean view. But we were barely in our rooms, so for us it wasn't that big of deal, we still had an amazing view!

Thanks girls for the info! I'm going to mention this to my TA and see what she says. monkey.gif

For all the ladies that have been to MP...did you do any of the tours? Was wondering which were the best?? Our guests are excited about the water park and the swimming with dolphins.

Almost have my brochures done and ready to print. They were easier than I thought!! Going to Davids Bridal tomorrow....!!!

Any suggestions already-wed brides have for reception/ceremony setup. I am brining a few decorations I'd like to include, and have a specific idea as to how I want our favor/place cards table to look. Is the MP good about this? Did you tell them how you wanted it in the initial meeting and it worked fine? Or did you have someone from the wedding party check on it or set up specifics like that?

Thanks!

Question to the MP Already-Wed who used the resort photog:

Did any of you have the resort/photog ship the photos to you? And if so, how long did they take to arrive?

The website states that the photos will be available to you after 3 days, however we're departing within that time frame.

I need to stop spending so much too, but how do you? FI is growing irritated saying the spending has got to stop, but its not like I keep adding in more frills. He scoffed when I brought home his attire for the wedding. (We're talking a french cuffed shirt and a pair of flat front pants.) Seriously?!?!? Are you F*ing kidding me?!!? He thinks he can just wear a pair of pants and a shirt he already has to wear to job interviews. God no. This is your damn wedding!

Sorry! I digressed....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
