We changed the location of our rehearsal party, it will now be at the North Solaryum (no clue where that is, but its on the Sunrise side somewhere close to the pools, FMIL wanted to be by the pool) at 8pm on the 22nd (tuesday). If you guys want to stop by, I'd love to meet you.

Hey everyone!! I just spent an hour reading all of your wonderful posts!!! I can't tell you how much it eases my mind to know that I'm not the only one out there trying to figure this stuff out!!

 

Here's what I know...

 

We're getting married 1/16/09 a Friday, not my choice but apparently they were booked that Saturday. at 1 pm. Also not my choice and would love suggestions on what to do after the wedding!!!

 

We're using Elizabeth Medina for our pictures. She's staying as our guest and we have her confirmed.

 

Hahaha. that's ALL i know!! I did get the email address from my TA for the lady she's been talking to in Miami. So today I emailed her directly and let her know we would love to move the ceremony until later in the day, and would like to book our sites!

 

BTW, I never would have known I could do that stuff until I started reading on here!!!!!

 

This is great! I can't wait to learn so much more!!!!!!

Hey Erin We have a 2PM ceremony...We're going to do a 2 hr coctail hr at 3PM and then a 4 hr reception after.

 

I know some brides are doing less formal coctail hours and everyone is just going to go out and hang out at the bar together

oh..I do know a few more things.

 

My FI is wearing a linen suit...they're on sale at macys.com his was $45 and its amazing!!

 

the guys are wearing white linen shirts and khaki pants. I bought the shirts at Women's & Men's Clothes: Plus Size, Maternity, Baby & Kid's Clothing | Old Navy for 15 bucks each!

 

My dress is hard to explain and I till try to put a picture up. and I'm going to wear coral jewelry. I'm a blonde, it works =)

 

The moms are wearing chocolate brown. they decided this. um...

 

Dads Linen pants, and white buttons up shirts.

My maid of honor, and only bridesmaid is going to wear a coral color.

 

see....its just the resort stuff i'm clueless about!!

I need help. When you do a catholic cermony do you have to get married here first. I was just told that the catholic cermony is not legally binding. I am unsure what to do at the point. My fi is really to throw in the towel and just elope.
