Congratulations Gemmalou! 2011 will be here before you know it! Just take advantage of all of the time you have and start to get the little DIY things done that you want and making To Do Lists, etc. as you think of things that you want for your wedding.

I haven't been married there yet, however I hear the cocktail reception is very nice and they serve lots of hours d' ouvres (don't know if I spelled that right).

I have been to the Moon Palace a few times and know everyone is going to LOVE IT!!! If anyone has any questions about the resort in general I will try to help :) The resort is GORGEOUS and there is something to do for everyone!

Hey gals, I'm one of the forum moderators who was a DW bride myself and I haven't been around a ton lately because I've been very busy with my photography business since I started doing that full time earlier this year. I'm actually shooting a wedding at the Moon Palace in just over a week and am happy to take a few photo requests of areas around the resort if I can and give any reviews of the food and service. I'll be staying in the Nizuc section if that helps... just let me know! cheesy.gif

we will be taking some photos on the beach (as well as doing a TTD) but the actual ceremony will be in the Tucan gazebo. (located in the Nizuc section at the southernmost end of the resort)

i know the catholic chapel is also not far from that area and while i'm scouting i'll take a few shots of that...and if i happen upon any beach weddings and i can, i will take a few shots of that too wink.gif

Here's a download attachment pdf map of the Moon Palace grounds -- everything is numbered, so it should help you figure out which restaurants/bars are near which beach locations.

it just means you dont have enough points to download it then. you can go here to download: Palace Resorts - Welcome to the Official Site - All inclusive vacations at the Moon Palace Golf Resort in Cancun, Mexico (the map download is on the right side below the main photo at the top of the page).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
