Hello! We are doing a welcome reception outside when we arrive ... do we need to rent the lights, etc for that? Or are most of you doing it only for the wedding.

 

We are getting married on Saturday Nov 28th ... anyone else??

also, did anyone consider going to costco in Mexico to get stuff for the welcome bags? I believe there is one not too far from MP

jl- I had my reception outdoors and the lighting they had was plenty enough for us! We did rent the ipod system though.

 

I know some brides have gone to costco for their OOT bag items. I know there are some threads about it somewhere in the Mexico section!!

I would bring receipts for anything that looks like a multiple. They are worried about people bringing in items for resale, so anything that looks like you have a lot of, like I had 33 fans and 33 beach bags. i would think exporting cheap items would be worrisome the other way around, but apparently not.

OK ladies question has anyone actually used the MP photographers? or have you all taken you own? cause they said they use palace channel and i tired t o research it and cant find anything Please let me know

I booked my own photographer. I liked the resort ones 85% of the time... but I wanted to be sure that on my day it was going to be awesome.

My photographer had already done weddings at the MP and knew all the rules. (I believe you have to book 2 nights for them so they can be considered guests and not vendors)
