They used to let you use more than one but I think they cracked down on that.
I actually go through my UPROMISE account for extra coupon codes, although they only let me use one coupon code yesterday. They let me use that and gave me free shipping. UPROMISE sounds like they have a similar deal with a bonus kickback. BTW, If you are not familiar with UPROMISE, you ought to check it our if you are planning on having kids. (If you are not having your own children, you can dedicate to nieces, nephews, or anyone you chose) UPROMISE not only gets you discounts and things, they also throw a percentage of your sale back into an account you can dedicate for someones college one day, some companies are up to 10%. Sephora is 3% of the sale plus you get the coupons. I forget how much Victoria Secret is but they let you use several coupon codes.

Sorry if off topic... just had to share! HAHA!!

The one thing I do recommend is to bring your own lipstick. If not, she'll want to use a tube of her own (with no brush or anything). I turned down this option. :)

FYI ~ for anyone else doing the civil ceremony. The blood test at MP was fine, he used new and different needles for us and it was quick and painless.

Thanks for the input! I started freaking about the blood tests. I'm still wondering if we should get married here and keep it quiet for everyone else. I mentioned it to my FI and told me to relax....

I've been searching for a hairstyle forever now and not having any luck. I am good friends with my hairdresser and she suggested just coming in for a trial and she would figure it out. Once we decide she will take it all out and we're snapping pictures as she does it. :) I will just go in midday so she's not slammed. Now if I could only find a hair piece that I like!

We will be there from July 5th through July 16th. I think Nina (Nibsmom) is coming in a day or so after you. You two share the same wedding day.

That was great you fell into the category you could get all free events. We did at first, but economy, violence in Mexico, and the swine flu dropped us down to 61 nights.

What time is your wedding? Your other events that day?

my wedding is at 5pm. Cocktail party Thursday night is @ 7, and the rehearsal is @ 7 as well. Hopefully it's cool enough. I told people I would kill them if they canceled, haha JK. Everyone was on board and we never had any real threats of anyone canceling their trip, it's all really close fam and friends. I ended up booking the deluxe wedding pkg, they let me take the one they had posted before the changes. WTH was with that anyway? They didn't even warn anyone. And who wants fireworks during broad daylight?

Even though I am not thrilled about the carriage, I hate being the center of attention, my MIL wanted me to get it and it beats walking or taking a golf cart i guess. Against my better judgment, we are also getting the Mariachi band- my fiance really wants it. I am sure it'll be fine, I just always dreamed of violins as a little girl.

I am glad you got the package you wanted. I just feel there are so many benefits to ours verses the new ones. They were cheaper and included services like the manicur, pedicure, holistic spa for both (100 mins - we have ours booked for Friday afternoon), the wedding dress pressing, and choice of music. AND don't forget two MP robes... HA!!

I think it is a great deal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
