Hello Everyone! I finally sent in my contract! It's official I am a Moon BRIDE!

We booked a Catholic Ceremony for August 1st 2009. Which leaves me only 6 months to plan! I've already gotten mixed responses to having the wedding so far away, Global economic crisis and all....

I'm trying to take it easy and just remember i only need my future hubby and a priest! My guest list is about 35 people but dont know how many will actually make it.

next step is room contracts! I was in contact with TA Jill from this forum and have also requested a room contract from the miami office.

Wish me luck!

I second that congrats! Don't worry, us forum girls won't let you forget anything! Your wedding will turn out great! And lots of people on here have small guest lists, you'll even find people with no guest list at all...so I'm sure you'll find someone to relate to! How exciting!!!

Does anyone have pictures of weddings that were done inside the chapel gazebo? I'm interested in how they decorated the pews but most pictures I've seen are in the other two gazebos.

I was pretty set on wanting my wedding in the Tucan gazebo... but my roomate pointed out that the chapel was cute and would cut down on wind (noise and uh... blowing things around)... so I thought I'd try and find some pictures.

Thanks for all the documents. That helps alot looking ahead. Which wedding package did you get? We are getting the Deluxe. Did you have that much extra you had to pay for besides the DVD recording?

TinaM2b I added a few more details to my review which hopefully answers your question.

I was married in the chapel gazebo - It has cherry wooden pews I think cherry? instead of chairs and a marble altar. There is a corner table for sand ceremony or unity candle - and there is glass about 3/4 of the way up the sides. It is beautiful - and no wind or noise. We actually did a unity candle and it didn't blow out until the very end if that tells you anything! I have pictures somewhere - I will find them and pm you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
